"I love teaching - It is one of my passions to share the knowledge I have gained from my metaphysical studies that I pursued on my own in combination with what I have learned from my esteemed collegues, mentors and other educators I have been blessed to learn from over many decades.
I established 'The Silver Moon School of Feng Shui and Metaphysical Studies' in 2009. It's registered with the State of Vermont as an educational facility so I was able to accept applications for V.S.A.C non degree grants for eligible students that applied to the 'Feng Shui Practitioner Certification Program'. I graduated certified students between 2009 - 2019.
I have taught many special Topic Classes including Tarot, Personal Awareness and Self Development, Healing with Flower Essences, Small Business and Idea Development, Feng Shui as an Interior Design Tool, Feng Shui for Teachers and many more!
I'm very excited to be offering classes again in the a new location - the beautiful classroom/conference center on the 4th floor of the historic 'Holton Hall' built in 1914 on the Winston Prouty Campus formally known as the 'Austine School'. "

I bought my first Tarot Deck in 1973, and even at the young age of 13, I was fascinated with the idea that the symbols and pictures on the cards had meaning and could offer profound messages that would be relevant to navigating my life's journey. I knew right away that these 78 cards would hold great significance for me. Before I understood what they signified, I would draw the images, which helped me to learn the content of each card more easily.
I was to learn later in life, that it was indeed a metaphysical tool for personal insight, transformation, and a guide for making creative decisions.
My first deck was the 'Rider Waite', and I have owned many others along the way, but I read for others with the 'Osho Zen Tarot Deck' as I find the images both Yin and Yang, illuminated, and they speak to our psyches in a language that surpasses our intellectual mind. People who never imagined they would have an interest in Tarot Readings, find the images evocative, expressive, and meaningful. With a Taoist influence, they have a strong emphasis on 'Five Elements' theory that is connected to Chinese Medicine and Feng Shui. This is a deck all humans will enjoy and a perfect tool for me to read with, given my personal interests that include all of these studies!
I first studied 4 Pillars Chinese Astrology with the intention to add it as a tool to my Feng Shui Practice. My teacher, Yasha Jampolsky was a Feng Shui Consultant and a Chinese Astrologer. It was his practice to run a clients chart before introducing Feng Shui to their environments.
I thought this was a fascinating combination because of my long term love and relationship with Chinese Medicine. I was also well studied regarding Tarot as a Five Element tool of personal growth and development. This comfort level allowed me to absorb the studies of Chinese Astrology more easily.
What I love most about 4 Pillars is the Earth based quality of the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac, The Solar Calendar as a guide to our 'Year' animal and the revealing of our two 'Ming Gua' numbers' that give us a sense of how the elemental diced were 'rolled' at our time of birth, setting off 10 year luck cycles and the influences they contain, our challenges to overcome, as well as our gifts and strengths of personality and character.
The chart will also reveal the year to year influences, family of origin ancestral influences , the predisposition of our elemental percentages for health and well being and our age of individualization of which tells a whole story in itself!
My favorite aspect is: Even though we 'see' or 'read' what appears in the chart - we are always free to strengthen ourselves in a variety of ways that will give a sense of self -empowerment and the ability to create healthy changes in our life - Although the story may be 'written' nothing is ever truly 'written in stone'
With the insights the chart can offer, it is never too late to create a healthier life style and make new decisions and choices that will bring more balance and harmony to our daily life experience!
